Allegations on Price-fixing in the Model Agencies
The class action suit, filed in the U.S.District Court for the Southern District of NewYork, included some of the leading
model agencies of New York like Ford Models, Next Model Management,Wilhelmina Model, IMG Models, Click Model
Management Inc., Zoli Management Inc., Q Model Management, MFME Model Management Co. and DNA Model
Management LLC, on charges that the agencies were collecting a 20%commission – double the commission rate allowed
by the NewYork State Law for the employment agencies.Models alleged that they were being exploited by the agencies,
which had collected higher commission since the 1970s...
